Christmas Newsletter 2019

Thank you to everyone for trialling the new invoice payment system which seems so far to be going really well. Obviously not everyone wants to pay online and some people have sent in cash or cheque along with their invoice which is absolutely fine. Examinations can also be paid online but I will need the exam slip sending in as well with paid online and the date paid please also can you put the students name and exam grade or medal details on the reference when you transfer it over i.e silver rose ballet or grade 2 tap. Next exam and medal date is Sunday January 26th 2020.

We will be holding the Christmas party for all students at the studio this year on Saturday 21st December after classes 4.00p.m to 5.30p.m

Please send in slip with £3.00 cash by December 7th please. Anyone with a DBS that would like to stay and help please let me know.

The Academy show ‘Born to Dance 2020‘ is May 1st & 2nd with two performances on the Saturday which hopefully will be much better for the students and the rehearsals will be at the theatre Wednesday and Thursday 29th & 30th April with most students only having to attend one of those nights. This will mean that the studio will remain open until Tuesday 28th April and will instead close Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th May.

All show deposits which are £8 per costume should be sent in by February 1st 2020. Please do not include performing arts and singing classes as they will supply their own costumes as normal. As we are having fees and examinations paid online then I have to ask that all costumes are paid for by cash please…if this is a problem for anyone though please let me know. Please remember students do not have to take part in the show and will not be left out in any way during lessons just let me know though a.s.a.p.

I have decide that next year we will have to remain open at Easter due to the show dates and the need for classes to practice show troupes etc but instead the studio will close during the May break which is 25th – 30th May 2020.

The Mardi Gras team are off to London on November 24th and I would like to wish them a fantastic time and anyone wishing to come along and watch them there are still tickets available for the show and also a few coach seats left. All details are on the posters at the studio.

Studio costs have increased considerably over the last year so there will be a very small increase in lessons from January 2020 and these prices will be sent out by end of November for you.

I would like to welcome Miss Jessica to the WMA team she will joining us November 21stand I am sure will contribute greatly to the high standard of teaching that we strive to give the students.

Thank you for all your support during the last year and I would like to say that it is so lovely to teach such fantastic students …they work so hard in their lessons and I am very proud of them all.

Miss Wendy
